Osborne Clarke are looking to expand their Change &Transformation team with a new Senior Communications Manager opportunity. Thisposition can be based in our Bristol or London office on a 10 month fixed termcontract.
This role will involve designing and delivering theInternational communications strategy and plan to support the delivery of alarge-scale business and technology transformation programme. You will work inpartnership with the Internal Communications Team to ensure effectivecommunication across the organisation.
The role
The Senior Communications Manager will lead the direction ofthe communication strategy and approach for the Programme, as well as ensuringthe successful execution of communications in alignment with organisationalgoals.
Other key responsibilities include:
Communication Strategy Development: Accountable forthe design, development, and implementation of the communications strategy andapproach to support the Programme, impacting everyone at OC across 13countries.
Stakeholder Engagement: Working with the programmemanager, lead change manager, and business SMEs/partners, together with commscolleagues to develop change stories, narratives and user journeys fordifferent audience groups.
Multi-Channel Communication: Designing effectivecommunications which support and align to the programme's change management andoperational impact strategy, including translating impact findings and userfeedback into a cohesive communications approach and plan.
Communication Delivery: Managing the delivery ofcommunications within the overall programme governance, milestones, anddelivery dates. Leading, planning, and drafting communications and copywritingfor all programme Communications, including crisis comms if required.
Monitoring and Metrics: Monitoring the efficacy ofcommunication activity and defining tracking and metrics, feeding into theongoing Programme's Stakeholder Analysis.
Consistency and Alignment: Ensuring consistency intone and approach with OC comms by working closely with the wider comms teamand aligning activities with BAU.
We are looking for:
- Experience in forming change communications strategies, approaches and delivery, particularly on change management programmes/projects with an international remit underpinned by the rollout of technology.
- Familiarity with ProSci / ADKAR change curve methodology.
- Confidence and experience working with a variety of stakeholders from C-suite to project teams.
- Previous experience developing a coherent and multi-faceted communications strategies and approaches, extracting key messages from a programme, and delivering and drafting multi-channel and media communications.
- Ability to analyse complex business challenges and formulate communications solutions for a diverse range of audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of communications.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate and interact with people at all levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior management.
